PERÚ: SEGUNDO PAÍS SEGURO PARA INVERTIR
Perú es el segundo país en América Latina con mayor seguridad para invertir, después de Chile, ya que exhibe una destacada situación fiscal gracias a su prudente manejo macroeconómico, informó hoy el Instituto de Inversión BlackRock.
Según el indicador de riesgo soberano “The BlackRock Sovereign Risk Index” (BSRI), que realiza el mencionado instituto, Perú ocupa el puesto 19 a nivel mundial.
El director ejecutivo de BlackRock para Sudamérica, Axel Christensen, señaló que de esta forma Perú supera a países desarrollados como el Reino Unido, que ocupa la posición 23, y Francia en la posición 27.
En cuanto a cambios relativos, Perú mantiene el mismo lugar de la medición anterior, realizada en setiembre de 2012, agregó.
“Es digno destacar que Perú ocupa el segundo lugar en América Latina, superando a naciones desarrolladas. Dentro de las categorías de variables medidas, Perú destaca por su alta evaluación en situación fiscal”,remarcó.
Los líderes a nivel mundial son Noruega, Singapur, Suecia, Suiza y Finlandia; y los países con menores puntajes son Grecia, Portugal, Egipto, Venezuela e Italia.
Los que más subieron en el ranking son China, que trepó dos lugares hasta el 16, Australia, que también mejoró dos posiciones hasta el puesto siete y Nueva Zelanda que mejoró tres lugares hasta ocupar el puesto 11.
En tanto que Japón y Sudáfrica retrocedieron dos lugares hasta las posiciones 35 y 36, respectivamente.
El índice, resultado de una relación de riesgos, ordena a los países en función de una serie de parámetros financieros, fiscales e institucionales.
Así, toma en cuenta el peso de la deuda, ahorros, capacidad productiva, tendencias de crecimiento,niveles de competitividad, capacidad de la moneda de servir como reserva de valor, capacidad para alargar plazos y vencimientos, entre otros.
